Our apps are designed so that your data belongs to you. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information, and we operate no servers of our own.
Your photos, and the details saved beside them, are stored as ordinary files in the app's folder on your device. If you back up, they're also copied to the drive or folder you choose. Photos Prime does not upload your library anywhere, and the developer cannot access it. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or your computer, the library may be included in that backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If you import from Apple Photos, Photos Prime reads the photos you allow and copies them into its own library. You can give it access to all of your photos or selected ones, and change that at any time in Settings.
The camera and microphone are used only when you take photos and videos with the built-in camera. If you allow location access, the place is saved into the photo itself so you can find it by place. None of it is sent to the developer.
To show and search place names, Photos Prime looks up the coordinates saved in your photos using Apple Maps, under Apple's privacy terms, the same as using the Maps app.
Finding what's in your photos and understanding your searches run on your device, using Apple's Vision framework and Apple Intelligence. Your photos and searches are not sent to the developer or to any third-party service.
Face ID or your passcode unlocks your hidden photos. The check is done by iOS; Photos Prime never receives your face data.
Our apps currently contain no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
