Common questions
Do I need the iPhone app to use the watch app?
No. The watch app has the whole Bible built in and works on its own. With both installed, your place, plans and saved verses sync between them.
Does it need the internet?
No. The full King James text is built into the app. The only network use is iCloud sync of your own reading data.
My place isn't syncing between my watch and iPhone.
Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on. Sync can take a minute after a change.
How do I add the complications?
On the watch, touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, swipe to Complications, tap a slot and choose Verse. Open the watch app once first so the complications have something to show.
How do I get a daily verse?
Turn on the daily verse in the app's settings and pick a time. Tap the notification to open the passage.
