No data collected

NewSwing has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app does not send your swings, videos, or any other personal information to us or to anyone else.

Swing videos and analysis

Videos you record or import, and the analysis NewSwing produces from them (body positions, swing phases, ball flight, grades, and feedback), are stored only in the app on your iPhone. All analysis runs on your device. Deleting a swing, or deleting the app, removes them. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or your computer, this app data may be included in that backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions

NewSwing asks for these permissions only when it needs them, and you can change them at any time in Settings:

• Camera — to record your swings.

• Microphone — to include sound with your swing recordings.

• Photos — to import swing videos you choose from your library. NewSwing reads the videos you pick and does not upload them anywhere.

• Motion and Health (Apple Watch) — the Apple Watch app uses wrist motion to detect your swing and stop the recording automatically. It runs a short golf workout session while detecting so the watch stays active. NewSwing does not read any of your Health data.

Apple Watch

The iPhone and Apple Watch apps exchange swing timing and recording controls directly with each other. This information doesn't leave your devices.

Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active. Apple's handling of purchases is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Children

NewSwing does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
