Your data belongs to you
Our apps are designed so that your data belongs to you. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information, and we operate no servers of our own.
Where your data lives
Your purchases, budgets and categories are stored on your device and synced through your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. The developer cannot access this data.
Shared budgets
When you share a budget, the people you invite can see and edit that budget's purchases through iCloud sharing. Sharing is managed by Apple, and you can stop sharing at any time. Your personal merchant shortcuts are not shared.
Camera
The camera is used only when you scan a receipt. The total is read on your device. Receipt images are not sent to the developer.
Location
If you allow location access, CardDog uses your current location to suggest nearby merchants through Apple Maps, under Apple's privacy terms. Your location is not stored or sent to the developer.
No bank access
CardDog never connects to your bank or card accounts and never asks for financial credentials.
Analytics and tracking
Our apps currently contain no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
